Laura Geltch, Director, Model Me Photography

Laura Geltch is the Grants, Communication & Sponsorship Coordinator at Hamilton Township School District in New Jersey. Laura’s career has been spent working in the primary/secondary education and nonprofit industry, with a passion for community and social services. For over 10 years, Laura has been a devoted volunteer and Board Member of the Burlington Township Food Pantry, a non-profit organization serving those in need who live and work, in Burlington Township, NJ. BUT, Laura is on todays show to discuss her work as the Director Of MODEL ME PHOTOGRAPHY which organizes events for photographers and models in the northeast region of the United States from Washington DC up to New York. Laura is quoted as saying: “Our events were created out of necessity. Both my daughters began modeling as teenagers and we didn’t always feel safe. I thought, we can do better and this industry deserves better!” And given Laura’s background, which I just shared with you, along with some glowing comments I’ve heard from models I’ve worked with, who have also worked with Laura, I wanted to bring her onto the show to talk about the world of young models and photographers in these often unsafe times.
