Henry Blofeld, Legendary Cricket Commentator

Henry Blofeld MBE, known lovingly as “Blowers” has a voice that conjures the quintessential British summer, even during matches held abroad, in warm climes, while the UK is in the clutches of winter. Henry Blofeld is a British national treasure and to quote Cricket Country: “Seldom has a commentator enjoyed such universal popularity. Blofeld’s mellow voice is well known around the cricketing world, and his quaint idiosyncrasies, and perpetual delight, at describing scenes at the stadium, and beyond, with little or no connection to the game, have bestowed on him legendary status”
