Brigid Gallagher is the Executive Director and Mental Health Director of Philadelphia Veterans House, In 1994, members of the US military veterans community in the Philadelphia area had an idea. Inspired by the success and humanitarian mission of the Ronald McDonald House, they proposed a place where military veterans, could live comfortably and have meals during weekdays, free of charge. It was a helping hand from veterans to other veterans, a gift to and from family. Philadelphia Veterans House offers the opportunity for homeless veterans to have a place to feel at home, find some peace, and have an advocate in their corner while awaiting long-term housing.

Paul Lucas was the film critic and entertainment writer for Main Line and Montgomery Newspapers in Pennsylvania. He spent many years working with TV Guide and numerous other, smaller, entertainment publications covering music, film, books, theater, art, spirits, cocktails and scary monsters and super freaks. And, as a self-proclaimed Gonzo journalist, Paul accepts the fact that none of today’s major publications would hire somebody with that title.
